This article, written by Zeliete Linhares Leite Zambon, President of the Brazilian Society of Family and Community Medicine, celebrates nearly a decade of Cuidado Integral à Saúde. The project, made possible by a cooperation agreement with partner entities – Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE) and the Â鶹ӳ» (Â鶹ӳ»), with the support of the Ministry of Health – aimed to identify innovative and viable care for labor and birth, which values ​​normal birth and reduces the percentage of cesarean sections without clinical indication in supplementary health.
