Making the Case: to provide high-level information on the Leadership for Health Equity program to your leadership.

Lead with Purpose. Advance Equity. Build a Community.

Based on the ΒιΆΉΣ³» Framework for Health Equity Leadership, this virtual course covers the competencies, approaches, and conditions for effective health equity leadership. In addition to live sessions, participants will complete asynchronous lessons to bring the concepts to life and drive their next steps. Expert faculty will share their experiences, explore examples of work across the nation, and provide practical tools and resources.

Agenda

The Leadership for Health Equity program includes 13 live online sessions (each from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET), paired with brief self-paced activities designed to deepen learning between sessions. Between sessions, participants will complete required self-paced assignments, each taking no more than 30 minutes, to reinforce key concepts and support real-world application.

Each session is intentionally crafted to build your leadership capacity while addressing the real-world challenges of advancing equity in health systems. Topics include foundational principles of equity and racial justice, making the business case for equity, measurement and evaluation strategies, organizational readiness, embedding equity into strategy, community engagement, coalition building, restorative justice, and authentic leadership. The program culminates in a final session where you’ll share your action plan and celebrate progress with your peers.
